About Us

Built by people in recovery, for people in recovery.

Founded in 2015 by a small group of friends who'd walked the road themselves, New First Day grew out of one simple belief: nobody should have to rebuild a life alone.

Our Story

A house. Then a home. Then a community.

We started with a single rented house and four residents. A decade later, we operate multiple homes for men and women across the region — but the formula hasn't changed: good housing, real accountability, and the kind of peer support that only comes from people who've been there.

We've watched residents return to families, finish school, start businesses, and — most importantly — wake up one more morning sober. That's the only metric that matters to us.

Our Values

Four things we won't compromise on.

Honesty

Every house standard, every interaction, every result we report.

Dignity

Residents are adults rebuilding lives — and we treat them that way.

Growth

Sobriety is the foundation, not the ceiling. We aim higher.

Accountability

Real consequences and real support — for residents and staff alike.
